PARTNERS

past and present

Sunderland Symphony Orchestra is a registered charity (No. 1082431) supported financially from membership fees, patronage fees, concert fees, and from charity donations. Additional funding has been received from a number of organisations, for which we are very grateful.

Through 2017 / 18 the Orchestra developed a successful Grants for the Arts bid to Arts Council England for our multi-faceted two-year Coming of Age developmental project. As a part of the Arts Council England bid, we receive funding from the Sunderland Music Education Hub - Together for Children CIC.  Beyond our existing working partnerships with the Royal Northern Sinfonia (RNS) and the Sunderland Youth Orchestra (SYO), we continue to develop working partnerships with music and cultural development partners in Sunderland and further afield.
